Socrates 102 Activities

Socrates 102 is an educational game for children aged between five and seven years old. The product contains 102 mini games with the goal to teach children the basics of reading, counting and writing in general.

Only a mouse is required to play the game and game can be launched directly as the game does not have any installer.

The games are divided into eight categories:* Liczby (Numbers): mini-games focused on identifying the number of items on the screen correctly. For example, one mini-game is a task for the player to pick a bunch of carrots that will feed each bunny on the screen.

• Obliczenia (Calculations): mini-games related to basic counting: addition and subtraction. An example is to select a bucket with a number matching the addition shown on the screen.

• Czytanie (Reading): mini-games focused on reading answers or text on the screen. An example is to identify the item by choosing the correct answer (text).

• Pisanie (Writing): mini-games about writing activities. An example mini-game: pick correct letters (bubbles) from the screen into the “word-field” to form word of object shown on the same screen.

• Myślenie (Thinking): category based in general on finding patterns. Example mini-game: fill row of eggs with correctly coloured egg in eggcup.

• Zapamiętywanie (Memorizing): mini-game with priority on remembering phrases, sounds or numbers on the screen. Example mini-game: match clocks visible on the screen by sound that they play (there are 4 pairs of clocks with the same sound effect).

• Porównywanie (Comparing): a mini-game for example consists of a task to select items that an object visible on a screen (horse) can eat.

• Tworzenie (Creating): puzzle-oriented category. For example a mini-game gives the player task to create a rocking horse toy by placing its parts on the visible template.
