Star Trek

This variant of Star Trek lived on the mainframe of the University of Houston. It expands in various ways on the original game. The basics remain the same with the player in control of the USS Enterprise having to keep the galaxy safe. Aside from the usual Klingon threats there are also Romulans and Archons that can be encountered. Other elements that can be found inside sectors are stars, planets, comets, wreckage and unknown objects. The player can land at Starbases to refuel and repair. The player can choose between 10 difficulty levels. The player fires photon torpedoes and lasers to damage enemy ships and must keep an eye on their energy and shield levels before they need to return to a starbase.
