Development Background
Originally developed as an entry in the Elevator Action series. As Dreams Co., Ltd. was founded by one Tomohiro Nishikado - as previously employed by Taito Corporation - his new company benefited from a working relationship with his previous employer. However, as Taito were acquired by Square Enix, the Elevator Action license would be taken off the table. Development on the game nonetheless continued, albeit under a generic title.
