Lifelife is the second DLC for State of Decay. You control Greyhound One, a military unit sent into Danforth, a medium-sized American city that has been overrun with zombies (or 'zeds'). The military is in a race against the clock to rescue key personnel before the city must be completely abandoned. Though some targets are key scientists who may be able to put an end to the outbreak, others are more dubious 'VIPs' that the military wants back for political reasons. Balance that against a civilian population that is also desperate to be rescued, and you must make difficult choices about who can be saved and who must be left behind.
Lifeline features a new map (the city of Danforth), new characters, a new storyline, new weapons, new vehicles, and is an entirely new way to play State of Decay. Instead of slowly scrounging for every resource, players use military weaponry and race against the clock to rescue survivors and key military targets while racing back to deal with 'sieges' during which waves of enemies attempt to overrun their base.
