Stowaway!: Stephen Biesty's Incredible Cross-Sections
Description
Stowaway!: Stephen Biesty's Incredible Cross-Sections is an educational CD-ROM title. It provides a visual cross-section explosive view of an 18th century British naval ship. Slicing the warship vertically into ten, finely-detailed sections (Bow, foremast, belfry, forehatch, amidships, waist, main mast, mizzen, aft and stern) and cutting each of those sections horizontally by deck level (hold (bilge), orlop, lower/middle/upper deck, forecastle, quarter deck, poop deck, mast/sails), users could explore each and every part of the ship, and examine life on board a 1700s man-of-war empirical military vessel at the height of its powers.
Gameplay elements are introduced by having to locate stowaways on the ship, hiding somewhere in the scenery.
