Tableflip: The Game
Description
Tableflip: The Game is a short platformer inspired by the Japanese arcade game Cho Chabudai Gaeshi where the player gets to flip tables as a means of stress relief. The subject was further popularized online through the series of ASCII signs ╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ that represents a symbol of rage of frustration. The player controls a purple character through several levels. The goal is to reach the exit each time, but tables can be flipped along the way just by walking past them. It is also possible to jump. The game keeps tracks of the amount of overturned tables, but that is entirely optional and not a requisite to finish levels. Along the way the creature meets various characters that can be interacted with. They either praise him or condone his actions. In later levels the police appears and they can be taken out by jumping on top of them. The game ends with a boss. When dying by falling in a pit or walking into a policeman, the level is restarted.
