Tiki Towers for the Wii is based on the same concept as the mobile game with the same name but has several differences. Most notable is that the game uses three dimensional graphics and it has different levels which generally are larger than in the mobile version. There are also some differences in the game mechanics. Here the monkeys are actively constructing the tower and not just climbing across it when it's finished. Other differences include spells that can be cast and special levels against enemy chiefs. To cast spells the player needs BananaMana which monkeys have to chant or collect bananas for. Enemy chiefs have their own spells that they use to thwart the player's progress.
The Wii version also features a local multiplayer mode where two players cooperate.
