When I am in a gaming slump, it’s always good to get back to square and re-visit some “old haunts”. For me, that includes games I have already played, but deemed excellent. Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold fits into that pantheon of great hidden object games. Well made, fun to play and never boring.

There aren’t many surprises in Treasure Seekers, and the problems do little to hinder to the overall experience. It’s a title that would be better purchased on the iPad if the option is available to you, but the game works well enough on the iPhone. The implementation of Game Center as well as the ability to update your achievements on Facebook are welcome additional features that make an already fun game that much better.

Fans of these kinds of games will no doubt enjoy this wonderfully crafted tale, so don’t hesitate to dive in for a memorable adventure you won’t soon forget.

If you are a fan of the genre or you happen to want to try it out, you could do a lot worse than pick up Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold. The gameplay has good quality point ‘n’ click/hidden object value, visually it does the job and more importantly, doesn’t compromise gameplay in place of over the top graphics. Some games try to be so dark and sinister you can barely see what you are doing, but thankfully, the developers haven’t fallen into this trap. There are a number of bugs that plight the game, though all of these could be fixed with an update in the near future, and there are some issues with badly chosen sound, but all of these are pretty minor drawbacks and shouldn’t be dwelled on too much.

Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold is a beautiful looking game and is a lot of fun to play. The fun only lasts a few hours however, as it’s fairly simple to complete. If you are fan of hidden object games, then I see no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy playing this.

Good visuals, a charming story, and an interesting mechanic that takes some of the dry feeling out of the hidden object/adventure genre. Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold is another high quality game that should not be missed.
