Trident is an aircraft addon for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. The package contains five models of the Hawker Siddeley HS 121 'Trident' aircraft: 1C, 1E, 2E and 3B, and 'Trident 140', painted in six liveries from five airlines: BEA, British Airways, CAAC, Channel Airways and Cyprus Airways.

The aircraft have both 2D and 3D virtual cockpit, though only the 2D cockpit has functional controls. The control surfaces, engines and wheels are animated, but not the exit doors. With these aircraft come twelve (six to & six return) pre-made flights to popular tourist destinations from the time these aircraft operated.

One thing to note is that the aircraft requires a long take-off run - don't let the ATC put you on a too short runway, or you may end up seeing why the nick-name of this aircraft was 'Gripper'.
