Description official description

Whirlwind over Vietnam is a helicopter simulation situated in Vietnam. The player takes control of a UH-1 Huey attack helicopter during the battle of the La Drang Valley in November 1965.

The campaign of Whirlwind of Vietnam allows for multiple difficulty levels which change the game play from more arcade action (easiest) to hardcore simulation (hardest). it is also possible to automate the flying and focus solely on shooting the enemy to bits. The player can choose to take one of four positions in the helicopter (pilot, copilot, or side gunners).

The campaign features ten missions total. Each is historically correct, which also means that all enemy targets are ground units and there is no aerial combat.
