Description
From famed Nintendo game designer
Shigeru Miyamoto,
Wii Fit is a take on combining fitness with entertainment. The Wii Balance Board designed specifically for
Wii Fit comes with the game.
The Balance Board is used for measuring weight as well as the user's center of gravity for a number of exercises and games. Among these are:
Yoga Poses:
Deep Breathing, Half-Moon, Warrior, Tree, Sun Salutation, Standing Knee, Palm Tree, Chair, Triangle, Downward-Facing Dog, King Of The Dance, Cobra, Bridge, Crocodile Twist, Shoulder Stand

Wii Fit also integrates the user's Mii in a similar way to
Wii Sports functions, however it also keeps track of BMI (Body Mass Index) and a number of other health related statistics, which can be compared to the other users of
Wii Fit across the world in the game's own channel.
The Wii Remote's speaker also gives the player instructions and updates to their performance, which is used especially for those activities which require the player to be facing away from the television screen.
Wii Fit includes nine Balance Games, varying depending on the region:
- Soccer Heading, head the soccer balls and dodge other flying objects like shoes and mascot heads
- Ski Slalom, lean left and right to ski down a slalom course
- Ski jump, ski down a ramp and jump as far as possible
- Balance Bubble, guide your Mii down the river by controlling your balance
- Driving Range, hit the golf ball as close to target as possible
- Bird's-Eye Bull's-Eye, flap your arms to fly and land your Mii in a chicken suite on all the targets
- Snowball fight, take cover and throw snowballs at Mii characters
- Obstacle Course, same as Obstacle Course with an updated course
- Balance Bubble, guide your Mii down the river by controlling your balance
