Gaming Nexus (May 27, 2011)
Conduit 2 is a good example of a sequel done right: it's an evolution of the previous game with a multitude of major improvements. With a bolder, brasher single player game, for better or worse, and a far more robust multiplayer mode, Conduit 2 isn't just a good first person shooter by Wii standards. It's a damn good shooter, period.
Impulse Gamer (Apr 26, 2011)
In the end, I enjoyed Conduit 2 but my only drawback was the game was over before I knew it. Even so, this is the best the Nintendo Wii has to offer in quite some time and if you're needing your first person shooter fix than this is the game to get. It may not break the mould in terms of originality but when it comes to controls and gameplay, Conduit 2 is very sturdy. I'm still stoked at how well the controls worked on the Nintendo Wii. Bring on Conduit 3!
Gaming Age (May 05, 2011)
If you haven't had a chance to experience the Conduit 2 yet and missed out on its predecessor, I definitely urge you to check this one out. It's a lot of fun, and while it's not without flaws, I think it's a definite improvement on the original, and certainly one of the better multiplayer shooters available on the Wii.
Game Revolution (Apr 28, 2011)
But really, I think we can remove that qualifier. Conduit 2 is an amazing game for something on the Wii, but it's also just "an amazing game".
Videogameszone (Apr 26, 2011)
Worth Playing (Apr 25, 2011)
Conduit 2 isn't a revolutionary shooter by any means. The plot is cookie-cutter, the graphics and sound design are good but not exactly eye- or ear-popping, and the campaign doesn't present a plethora of new features. The experience is still enjoyable, especially the multiplayer portion and its robust gameplay options. The game still shows a willingness to experiment with a few new guns and modes, and those who love finding bonus material will find a bevy of them here. It's a familiar but solid shooter that Wii owners will appreciate with open arms.
Destructoid (Apr 29, 2011)
I may sound like I'm gushing on the game a bit so let's do a reality check right here. In comparison to most top-tier FPS Conduit 2 is flawed in many ways. While I've championed its improved graphics and gameplay it still feels overall like it's one step behind the best FPSs out there. It's fun to play, has some awesome multiplayer and is a massive step forward from the first game in terms of design and philosophy. If you enjoyed the first game you won't be upset playing or owning this game, but has the Conduit series graduated into a top tier shooter? Not yet.

IGN (Apr 19, 2011)
Conduit 2 is a worthy addition to the Wii library, and it's worth playing for its visuals alone. The fact that gameplay and control operate as well as they do speaks volumes for the talent at High Voltage Software. The problem with Conduit 2 is that it never breaks away from doing what other first-person shooting games have done. It's not telling the most original story, the action doesn't feature much diversity, and you're not going to care about the characters. But if you want action, and you want a strong multiplayer title to fire up and explore, you've got a winner here.
NintendoWorldReport (May 06, 2011)
Conduit 2 has some good moments and has proven itself a perfectly competent shooter with some middling issues. My biggest complaint is that the game just isn't memorable, and there are other shooters I'd rather play. For a single-player experience, I'll go with the Metroid Prime Trilogy or GoldenEye. For online multiplayer (or even offline multiplayer), GoldenEye still reigns supreme. If you need to get your FPS fix, Conduit 2 has you covered, but there are honestly better shooters out there in the gaming landscape.
Cubed3 (May 01, 2011)
Conduit 2 is a massive step forward from the original, refined and improved after criticism from fans and the press; it’s a worthy addition to your first person shooter collection, if only for the multiplayer. It looks great and handles well, but is let down by weak AI and a bizarre storyline. Whilst High Voltage has lessons to learn from other studios to improve art direction and variety, it has set the benchmark for near-perfect Wii Remote and Nunchuk control. Conduit 2 is not quite top tier, but it is fun and one of the most well-rounded titles on Wii to date.

Nintendojo (May 30, 2011)
Even with those flaws, though, it’s clear that High Voltage really poured itself into this game, and the end product is better across the board. The online multiplayer especially is leaps and bounds better than that of the first game, a welcome change. Overall, Conduit 2 is one of the few decent hardcore games to come down the pipeline in awhile and it’s worth a look, especially for those who like their sci-fi shooters.
Cheat Code Central (Apr 23, 2011)
At this year's Game Developers Conference, it was obvious High Voltage was stoked about the improvements they'd made to their modest shooter, and in many ways, they deserve to be. On the other hand, there's not enough difference between the first and second Conduits to say they've made a true evolutionary breakthrough. Although Conduit 2 has more to offer in terms of environmental variety, it retains much of the original game's narrative unoriginality and awkwardness of presentation. Still, the Wii can't boast much in the way of shooters and so Conduit 2 fills a critical void. Gamers who care about cohesive plotlines may pull an ocular muscle rolling their eyes, but action lovers are sure to enjoy it.
The Escapist (May 05, 2011)
Conduit 2 suffers in comparison to what's available on the other consoles or the PC, but the addition of motion controls that (mostly) work make it worth a rental, as long as you can get past the goofy story.
GamesRadar (Apr 26, 2011)
Since the release of the original Conduit, we've seen that the Wii can quite capably run some pretty solid shooters (notably Red Steel 2), and simply doing the job isn't enough anymore. Sadly, aside from a sharp online Wii experience, Conduit 2 rarely impresses, relying too much on generic drudgery and sad attempts to capture the magic of more popular titles; worse yet, the storyline and characters seem aimless and forgettable. Conduit 2 may still hold appeal for shooter fans relying on the Wii to get their online fix, but that kind of qualifier just doesn't hold as much weight as it did a couple years back.
FNintendo (May 26, 2011)
Gameplay (Benelux) (May 27, 2011)
Nintendo Life (Apr 25, 2011)
The Conduit got a free pass for being relatively ambitious for Wii shooters, but those days are over: Conduit 2 is a mess of undercooked ideas and impotent execution. It's not that it's a drastically worse game than its predecessor, but the design has been so far surpassed multiple times in the past two years that there is very little reason to return to this underwhelming well. It's clear that High Voltage tried to mimic all of the same bullet points of "good" shooters and address some of their last game's errors, but facsimiles of better games just don't cut it any more.
