Computer Gaming World (CGW) (Feb, 1997)
I also longed for a good Spider-Man videogame, but never got one. Many years ago, Scott Adams released a graphic adventure, which I remember as being absolutely unplayable. Now there is Byron Preiss Multimedia's SPIDER-MAN: THE SINISTER SIX. The good news is that it is playable. The bad news is that SINISTER SIX is really no better than that awful adventure game of a decade ago. The graphics are jagged, the story weak, the puzzles laughable (cryptograms, anyone?), and the action sequences so dismal, so minor, so clumsy, so basic, so dull, so Atari 2600 as to defy comment.
