Besides the general concept, there isn't much else to say about the game. The graphics are dull and basic, and have barely changed since the game's inception into the computing world back in 1992, and there is no sound to speak of, except for the occasional cry of pain over inadvertently hitting a mine (but don't shout too loudly -- remember: you're at work!). Nevertheless, Minesweeper is decent fun in short bursts if you have a few minutes of free time to spare between overwhelming tasks. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. Frankly, it's just an average game. It has remained a staple to pretty much every Windows operating system, and I doubt Microsoft will be getting rid of this classic title anytime soon. And for Mac users: you can get Minesweeper too! Just search the internet for it, and you shall receive!
