This is the way the cards are set up for Golf Solitaire. The exposed card is the 2 of Clubs. This means the player can play either the 3 of clubs or the Ace of Spades.

This is the end of the first turn. The player was able to play the 3 of Clubs, 2 of Hearts and Ace of Spades. They could have continued with the 2 of spades but they missed that.

This is the starting position for Pyramid Solitaire

Both games allow the player to change the back of the card
