Science Fiction Weekly (1998)
Keeping in mind that this is a beta version of the game, and that there are still a few...ahem...bugs to be worked out, it's clear that Kesmai has what it takes to satisfy both the Aliens fan and the hardcore gamer. This is one of those titles that cashes in on some of the Internet's promises of multiplayer action, and it's sure to be a hit with SF lovers.
GameSpot (Apr 16, 1998)
For years, developers have been trying to create a game that embodied the intense action of the Aliens movies, but no one's had much luck. Alien Trilogy might have been a good PlayStation title two years ago, but its PC translation was a huge disappointment, and Mindscape's Aliens was an even bigger flop. But just when it seemed that no one could make an Aliens game that was worthy of the name, along comes Aliens Online. It's far from perfect, to be sure, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.
Computer Games Magazine (Jun 29, 1998)
Between the focus on team play and the effective atmosphere, Aliens Online works despite its old technology and noticeable flaws, and when played right is really quite gripping stuff. It'll be even better once they get it fine-tuned.
PC Joker (Jun, 1998)
