PC Gameworld (1997)
Baseball Mogul is a menu-driven business simulation that goes where other baseball games have never dared to go before. Its developers seem happy to let Electronic Arts supply the eye-candy games like Triple Play 98 while they serve up the World Series of hard-core simulations for baseball fans.
Computer Gaming World (CGW) (Nov, 1997)
All in all, BASEBALL MOGUL is an innovative, tightly focused game that captures the feel of building a franchise. You make decisions about hot dogs and ticket prices, and whether to broadcast games on local television or pay-per-view; you set scouting, farm system, and medical budgets. And most of all, you trade until you run out of players. With a little more work, this could be a great game. As it is, it will give armchair GMs a lot of excitement. Even with its flaws, this is one of the most addictive games I've played in a long time.

If this sort of thing sounds appealing to you (and this type of game can be fun - Premier Manager '97 being a primary example), then by all means click on the big "Download" sign to the left and cancel all of your appointments for the next week. People who want a bit of action in their baseball games would be best advised to try out a more conventional title.
