When I attempted to download the game a message popped up saying that the install was not supported by Windows 7. I'm not very computer savy, so does anyone have any ideas on how I can get around this?

Try Windows 98 compatibility mode or DOS version in DOSBox.

I tried to use windows compatibility but it didn't work very well. Could you possibly explain the process of downloading a game using DosBox?

Might want to try their forums instead and whether or not it's supported. It may/may not require some additional tweaking.

The game itself is extremely buggy, by the way.
