Bovinator
Description
Bovinator is a humorous advergame created for the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant chain to promote their new all-natural Angus Burger. The player controls "Bob the Bovinator", an anthropomorphic bull who uses a rapid-fire "udder gun" to blast villains with a stream of milk.
The player must aim to shoot bad guys who keep popping up in various locations on the screen. The goal in each round is scoring 20 hits within a time limit of 60 seconds. There are only three levels which keep looping, however the enemies become smarter and harder to hit with every passing round. Bonus points can be gained by shooting certain decorations.

Trivia
Controversy
The original release of the game was called Moofia, and the "bad guys" bore gangster-like names: Tony Piglioni, Da Rat, Busta Chops and Frankie Fowlmouth, while the main character was named "Jimmy Hoofa" and dispatched by the "Moofia". However, the game was found offensive by some customers, including Italian Americans. In September 2001 the game was revamped. The title was changed to Bovinator and the enemies' names were changed to the more neutral Sammy Swine, The Rat, Willy B. Wool and Freddie Fowlmouth. The protagonist likewise became Bob the Bovinator, and mentions of the Moofia were removed.
Popularity
The game was played by over 50,000 people within two weeks after its release. Within a little over a month it accumulated 130,000 game plays, and the traffic to T.G.I. Friday's website tripled.
