Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far
Windows version
Definately the BEST of the CC series so far!
The Good
I love the strategic Close Combat series of games so far. The troop control interface is terrific, graphics are better, and troop facing and command abilities far better than the previous two. I can't wait to try CC5 Normandy, and hopefully CC6, the Pacific Theatre, if ever developed. These games are some of my faves!
The Bad
Vehicle movement is still a little erratic, and artillery and aircraft support placement is a bit confusing. However, the pros far outweigh the cons!
The Bottom Line
Intense, real-time overhead combat command and control, with soldiers/units that act and move like real soldiers/units did back then (and now). Tactics are everything, and initial troop placement is critical. Objective oriented, this game really does rawk!
