Das Überleben Dem Großen Sprung
Description
Überleben is a BASE jumping / skydiving game in which players plummet downwards through a dangerous cave-like environment, aiming to reach the bottom alive.
Up to seven people can play at once, clustered round the same computer, sharing keyboard, mouse and control pads. A 'fighting' option can be turned on if desired, allowing players to knock each other around. Either way, it's a competition to see how can survive the longest. In addition to avoiding the stalactites and other obstacles, there are golden rings to collect; these increase your character's mobility and attack power.
Version 2 of Überleben includes four different environments; 'snow,' 'tree,' 'death star' and 'molten.' The last of these provides the harshest challenge as giant hellish centipedes patrol the world.
An option allows you to set the cave length from 'easy' (a relatively short ride) to 'endless.' The levels are randomly generated from a set of pre-defined shapes each time you play.
If any player reaches the bottom of the shaft alive, their parachute opens and they land safely. If everyone is dead, the camera travels back up the tunnel and colored lines trace the route each player took.

Trivia
Grammar
The "correct" title (using proper grammar) should have been either Das Überleben: Der große Sprung or Das Überleben des großen Sprunges; depending whether it's supposed to be a title/subtitle (The Survival: The Big Jump) or just one title (The Survival of the Big Jump).
