DogFighter

DogFighter is an arcade aerial combat game consisting of single player levels as well as multiplayer maps where players gather online to fight each other. Players choose from different aircraft varying in speed, agility and defence capabilities and fight against each other in small locations filled with buildings and obstacles.

Up to 8 players can play in multi-player game modes such as DeathMatch, Team DeathMatch and Capture the Flag. Single-player modes include Tournament mode where the player can achieve medals for events completed and Survivor where they can battle against waves of enemy craft.

Gameplay is centered around targetting opponents to bring them down, while using different manoeuvres such as supercharge, airbrake, rolls, pitches, loops and immelmans to avoid opponents. There are both offensive and defensive weapons. These and other types of power-ups are acquired by shooting down balloons that float around the area. Some power-ups also contain negative effects however.
