Je me nomme Our Hero (bah oui, on fait ce qu’on peut), j’ai beaucoup moins de pixels qu’aujourd’hui, la souris n’est pas mon amie, et je ne fais que trois têtes différentes : en forme, blessé, mort. J’étais peut-être limité, mais moi, je suis un précurseur d’un genre nouveau, et toc. En effet, même si on parle parfois aussi de Wolfenstein 3D, c’est Doom qui a lancé le genre du FPS.

Obecnie rodzina Dooma to nie tylko część
podstawowa. Wkrótce po nim ukazała się jej czysto komercyjna
kontynuacja, to jest Doom 2, będąca skokiem
bardziej ilościowym niż jakościowym. Po ukazaniu się na rynku
systemu Windows 95 pojawił się Doom 95 będący
w zasadzie tym samym, co część pierwsza, tyle że bardziej płynnym
graficznie. W Polsce dostępny jest natomiast Ultimate
Doom, program zawierający trzy epizody z jedynki plus
jeden nowy, za to niezwykle trudny. I go właśnie polecam nabyć.
Klasykę trzeba szanować.
