Family Mystery: The Story of Amy

Amy lost her parents in a plane accident, and was raised afterwards by her grandparents. Instigated by curiosity about her past, she returns to her childhood home, discovering a family photo album while exploring the attic. She starts to examine the pictures to gather some clues about her history.

Family Mystery: The Story of Amy is a hidden object game that shows line art sketches instead of the usual locations cluttered with assorted objects. The objective is to find and click on all the hidden drawings inserted discreetly in the main picture, with a list displaying the required ones at the right side of the screen. Each doodle found adds a bit of color to the black and white scenery. After finding all the items, a full color rendition of the picture is shown.

The player can switch between two lists at any time, one showing the drawings and the other listing their names. There are two hint buttons at the bottom of the list, the first type with less explicit clues about one of the required objects, with the second type showing its exact position.

Between the photos, the player has to choose one of three mini-games to receive extra hints. In the quiz game, the player has to pick the correct answer from three choices, to a question about a picture feature. In the doodle game, the goal is to click on all the new doodles that keep appearing over the picture. In the twister game, the sketch is segmented into a grid of squares, and the objective is to click on the ones that are displayed in full color inside the list at the right side, to eliminate them before they accumulate.
