1.1 patch (European and US version - adds user selectable invasions to Free Build mode, LAN support for multiplayer, a variety of gameplay enhancements and some bug fixes)

1.2 patch (European and US version - new features and improvements on both the single- and multiplayer sides of the game, along with bug fixes and other changes).

1.3.1 patch (European, US and Deluxe version - adds the Deluxe content to the original game, including the new Conquest Trail mode, eight historical castles, three AI players and four new Kingmaker maps, as well as applying a sizable number of gameplay tweaks and bug fixes).

1.4 patch (multiplayer gameplay optimizations, map transfer in multiplayer lobby enabled; implemented real-time shadows, bloom, anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing)

1.4.1 patch (blank and duplicate games removed from multiplayer lobby, disbanded troops now appear from hovels or outside the keep, troops placed in stockpiles can now be targeted by enemies, quarries enabled in two free build maps, players can no longer open/close gatehouses occupied by enemies, sally ports appear hidden to enemies)
