Overall I'd say this game accomplished what it set out to do: allow beginner gamers to have a strategy and war game that they can handle and is easy to play. I gave it a rating of 4 ½ GiN Gems because I feel that almost all of the aspects of the game are at about the level they should be except for the sound quality. All the categories -- sound, graphics, gameplay, controls, story, and even entertainment -- are simple enough for kids to enjoy but still interesting enough to keep older gamers intrigued and working their way through each arena of Gromada.
Gamezilla (Jun 16, 2000)
It's got guns, it's got tanks, it's got large explosions. A huge load of missions and several different weapons to choose from make this a classic shoot-em up game, with enough substance to make for an instant kids' favorite. Gromada is a game that is sure to entertain children for quite a long time, with a significant amount of variety and re-playability. It is obviously not the kind of game to appeal to most hardcore gamers, but if you're a parent looking for a birthday or holiday gift for your children, I heartily recommend Gromada.
Absolute Games ( (May 23, 1999)
Power Unlimited (Oct, 1999)

Though many reviewers would readily dismiss Gromada as being too shallow, just as the real-time strategy and action-oriented first-person shooter crowds would by and large find it beneath them, I took a shine to it right from the start. Taken in terms of its own aspirations, Gromada is not supposed to be a breakthrough product that startles the gaming world with its technological prowess, but rather a pleasant diversion that satisfies those who seek an absorbing arcade shooter with a few important strategic elements. I cannot stop playing it, as I really enjoy the fast-paced alien setting with all the fireworks, and it saddens me that it took this release so long to make it to the United States. Of course, Gromada has its limitations, such as the rigidity in its input system, but has no gaping flaws in any area. So if you want a break into an engrossing yet unearthly “road warrior” style world, buy this title.
If you are having a hard time sleeping, then this might be what you're looking for.
