Maximální zábava, skvělé zpracování, úžasná hratelnost, obrovský rozmanitý svět pro PvE i PvP. Pro mě aktuálně nejlepší MMORPG. A bez poplatků.
Guild Wars 2 is a fun trip for sure. With its amazing amount of customization, inclusion of a deep story and beautiful world to explore, it easily makes it to the number one MMO on my list. What makes all this even better is the lack of a subscription fee. You don't have to pay each month to keep playing. You just buy the game and then go play it online forever. I believe that Guild Wars 2 is revolutionizing the MMO genre, and if others want to compete then they had better take notes. Guild Wars 2 is perfect in every way.
Quarter to Three (Sep 20, 2012)
The fact of the matter is that I can count on two hands the games I’ve loved as much as I now love Guild Wars 2. This isn’t just a great example of the genre and arguably the Second Coming of MMOs. It isn’t even just one of the best games I’ve ever played. This is what happens when a group of talented, smart, dedicated, imaginative, bold, consumer-friendly creators get together and spend years solving problems and making something wonderful.
Digital Spy (Sep 07, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is a staggeringly ambitious project that makes a bold statement about the future of the MMORPG. It is living proof that a game of this manner can thrive outside of the subscription business model and the genre's established conventions. ArenaNet's opus is visually breathtaking, crammed with content and a significant improvement on its predecessor - so it might just be time to reconsider renewing that World of Warcraft subscription.
Atomic Gamer (Sep 07, 2012)
With great graphics, action-oriented combat, and a huge world that's inviting and fun to explore - all without kill-stealing, quest task lists, or so many annoying MMO rules that we've programmed ourselves to follow - I feel that while Guild Wars 2 is not revolutionary in all aspects, it's revolutionary enough that I can still attach that word onto this game without regret. There's some uncertainty in the future of the game's monetization model, and a few frustrating MMO tropes that still haven't changed, but this game still brings in a new era for big-budget MMOs that I think will change a lot about games to come.
G4 TV: X-Play (Sep 06, 2012)
Truth be told, it was hard to turn off the game to write this review because I just kept finding new features to fall in love with. The crafting-which could use a tutorial or two-turned out to be one of my favorite features in the game. I found myself stopping in the middle of battle to chop down a tree, telling myself "this would make a great axe handle!" More than anything, however, I have to say that Guild Wars 2 is just fresh. It's new, it's innovative and more than anything, it's a welcome change for fans that may want something different. I know I did.

Digital Chumps (Oct 10, 2012)
As someone who has played this genre of games for over ten years, I am finally ready to hang up my spurs and settle in the world of Tyria. I do not feel the necessity to climb to the pecking order of social status in MMOS anymore. I am getting old. The days of twelve hour gaming sessions burning daylight to grind dungeons, raids, or level are gone for me. My MMO sun sets in Tyria, and I could not have picked a better place.

Ultimately, the way from making your character to level 80 isn’t all that intimidating, and the idea of not having to pay a monthly tax doesn’t rush anyone through the content. Exploring and travelling is pretty casual without leaving you with no competitive options. In most respects, Guild Wars 2 is a success and for whoever got tired of WoW without giving up on the idea of a massive, job-like game, this is probably the only viable alternative. And if I may continue this analogy, Guild Wars 2 is pretty much a fun part-time job, compared to the sweatshop that every top WoW player endures. Most of all, it’s pretty hard to be a no-lifer in a game that doesn’t give you considerable attribute advantages on casual players, and your skill/experience is your only edge, while nobody really cares who killed some dragon for the first time or who the best PvP-er on the server is.
Gry OnLine (Sep 10, 2012)
Wraz z Guild Wars 2 studio ArenaNet rzuca wyzwanie klasycznym grom MMO.
Game Watcher (Sep 12, 2012)
In reality, Guild Wars 2 will likely only get better in the coming weeks and months whilst players settle in, features mature and the long-term content plans reveal themselves. It’s not often you can say that about any MMO in this day and age, and even if this is one of the final death rattles for the template we’ve come to know and love over the past decade or more, what a hell of a way it would be to say goodbye. Guild Wars 2 is a fast, slick and beautiful community-driven MMO experience featuring all the content and mechanics you’d expect from a game with a monthly fee, and a good deal more besides. With that in mind, I cannot recommend it enough.
AusGamers (Sep 07, 2012)
I would be reasonably loathe to consider Guild Wars 2 a “revolution” in MMO mechanics, since at its core there is still a theme park here, albeit an extraordinarily well-designed one. But it’s obvious that its creators took on and smashed existing tropes with an aim to significantly improve on that experience that many millions of players currently fork out money for every month. So on that basis, I will just go ahead and say it; GW2 is the first genuine competitor with any chance of success to compete on the same turf as World of Warcraft since its inception. Blizzard would be wise to take notes.
Ten Ton Hammer (Aug 28, 2012)
When ArenaNet first released its MMO Manifesto we knew they were aiming for something revolutionary with Guild Wars 2. What we got is the first worthy successor to World of Warcraft.
PC Gamer (Sep 06, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is not a revolution, but it is a call to arms. Tomorrow’s MMORPGs will be held to account against its standards: generosity, variety, and respect for the player’s ability and time. Of course, by that point, it won’t be Guild Wars 2 waving the banner. It’s not a revolution. It just quietly suggests that we start one.
Cheat Code Central (Aug 28, 2012)
Yes, at first blush, Guild Wars 2 seems like World of Warcraft with better graphics. But in countless ways, it's a complete overhaul of the way things are done. I've played a lot of recent MMOs—from Wakfu to SWTOR—and plenty of them were fun and had the potential to grow and improve. But this is the first time I could make the following statement: This MMO, in its current state, poses a serious threat to World of Warcraft.
93 (Oct 04, 2012)
I can still admit that Guild Wars 2 is not going to be for everyone. It’s not going to turn someone wanting a new sandbox into a sudden fan of the theme-park. But I will bet that for some it may not matter what sort of MMORPG GW2 can be classified as. Theme-park or sandbox doesn’t matter, because at the core of it all Guild Wars 2 is a relentlessly fun and rewarding gaming experience. What faults I’ve found in my time with the title are minor in comparison to the leaps and bounds the game has made towards taking MMORPGs to new places. ArenaNet set out to make a game they wanted to play. Along the way, they’ve created one of the best titles of the year in any genre, and indeed one of the best MMORPGs ever made. Well done, but don’t get cocky. The true development of Guild Wars 2 is just beginning.
93 (Oct 01, 2012)
A chi piacerà, dunque?
InsideGamer (Aug 30, 2012)
ActionTrip (Sep 07, 2012)
Speaking as someone who loves the MMOG genre, I am enjoying my time with Guild Wars 2. Visually, it's a feast for your eyes. Gameplay wise, the skill-based action combat system keeps encounters exciting even when fighting creatures below your level. ArenaNet has gone to great lengths to provide a variety of ways for players to occupy themselves as they explore the game world, harvest resources, craft and so on. Yes, Guild Wars 2 does not include some of the features that might be labeled as hallmarks for veteran players (the most glaring being large group raids), albeit one thing that we have learned is that MMOGs are a living and evolving thing. The current apparent lack of end-game content beyond the various flavors of PvP and re-running five-man dungeons might change in future. In the meantime, I plan on playing for a long time to come. The fact that I don't have to worry about the monthly meter running in the background makes that idea all the sweeter.
Gameplay (Benelux) (Sep 28, 2012)
RPG Site (Sep 24, 2013)
Rather than implementing drastically new ideas, Guild Wars 2 attempts to rethink how old MMORPGs should play. Do you want to quest by clicking on NPCs with exclamations on their head and run around doing fetch quests? No? Guild Wars 2 has the solution to that: Dynamic Events. Do you want to enjoy an endgame from beginning to end? Yes? Guild Wars 2 offers that. Guild Wars 2 is a response to the genre saying, “We’ve come here to stir the pot and change things up” and is asking for others to join suit. By that token, Guild Wars 2 is a true accomplishment as it ceases to exist not only as an MMORPG but a game that anyone can join as a whole.
90 (Oct 17, 2012)
With eight character classes, a bevy of crafting professions, and a rich landscape to explore, Guild Wars 2 is the exception, rather than the rule. It may borrow a page here and there from other online role playing games, but in the end, is able to carve out its own identity through a varied selection of races and classes, a unique skill system, and a world punctuated by symphonies that’s just begging to be explored. Every long journey begins with a single step and this is one journey worth undertaking.
RPG Site (Sep 14, 2012)
To say that it revolutionizes the genre might be saying much but to start the wheels of innovation going is a more adequate definition for Guild Wars 2. Rather than implementing drastically new ideas, Guild Wars 2 attempts to rethink how old MMORPGs should play. The Controller Online (Sep 03, 2012)
While there were a few hiccups with the launch, these are completely overshadowed by how much fun you’ll be having. Guild Wars 2 manages to turn the MMORPG on it’s head, while still holding on to the good elements of the genre. The game’s dynamic co-op play, exentsive fast travel system, streamlined crafting system and steady character progression all get together to stop wasting your time as so many other MMO’s do. The fat has been trimmed so that you’re left with nothing but the game and there is nothing to artificially extend the experience. Guild Wars 2 is the new standard for the MMO.
PCActu (Oct 13, 2012)

World of Warcrafts tidskrävande gear-grindande.
There are lots of thing I haven't mentioned or just scratched the surface of, but I know for a fact that this game contains hundreds of hours of content, and that it's polished to a level that most MMOs only reach after a few years on the market. Despite a few shortcomings, Guild Wars 2 represents a massive leap in the right direction for the genre as a whole. With its active combat, truly dynamic and social PvE content, and a PvP that succeeds in attracting players who normally stay away from that sort of thing, Guild Wars 2 is a masterful game. If you have even the slightest interest in the MMO genre, I fully recommend you give this a closer look.
90 (Sep 11, 2012)
90 (UK) (Sep 18, 2012)
It's not the levelling, it's the taking part that counts. That's what makes Guild Wars 2 great. Almost every aspect of its design serves the individual player and whole community equally, and there's a breezy willingness to put the content ahead of the grind throughout. It's a little lightweight, perhaps; its fantasy world is more picturesque than truly enveloping, and its social and gameplay hooks offer instant gratification over ties that bind. But it's still the most coherent, seamless, social and fun MMO in a long time - and the only one that can call itself truly modern.
3D Juegos (Sep 06, 2012)

NZGamer (Nov 02, 2012)
In short, Guild Wars 2 can be what players want to make of (and take from) it, which is pretty much what every good MMO should aspire to. All up, it’s been a resounding success.
Guild Wars 2 combines the personal storyline, character customization, and varied combat system of a single-player role-playing game with the living, evolving world of an MMO in the best ways possible. There are still technical issues being worked on, and by evidence of the game’s increased stability and expanding content, ArenaNet is already making great progress in that regard. No MMO will be completely frustration free, whether from bots cluttering up an area or the occasional rollback because of a glitch, but so far, Guild Wars 2 has managed to offer an engrossing experience that is only getting better as time goes on. Now if someone would just plug that leak.
90 (Oct 10, 2012)
While Guild Wars 2 may have a few aspects that leave players a little frustrated it provides an incredibly solid experience for anyone interested in large scale cooperative play. It will be interesting to see what content updates NCsoft has planned for the future, but even assuming that all players have to look forward to is four or so months of patch balances before the next big content addition there's more than enough available now to justify the purchase.
The Escapist (Sep 28, 2012)
The MMO industry has been tirelessly chasing the coat tails of a certain game, attempting to capitalize on being the same formula but with something like better storytelling or PVP. In a fresh contrast, the developers behind Guild Wars 2 have taken the time to truly examine the MMO from the ground up. Guild Wars 2 may not completely revolutionize the genre, but it certainly appears to be the new standard that future MMOs will look to. The sense of adventure, teamwork and exploration in an MMO has never been better.
Darkstation (Sep 26, 2012)
If you value a ton of top-quality content for a not a lot of money, then Guild Wars 2 is the game to play. It’s approachable, addictive, and immersive and above all refines MMO’s in every conceivable way. While the gameplay and graphical glitches are disappointing, they aren’t big enough to negate the impact of this wholly amazing online role-playing game that will keep you occupied for months on end. If anything, World of Warcraft can safely retire and instead pass the torch over Guild Wars 2. It’s just that good.
Gameplanet (Sep 21, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is the first new MMO in a long time to offer a compelling and enjoyable gameplay experience, that doesn't leave the player alone and trying hard to make friends. As with any MMO, it's a complete waste of time. A joyful, well crafted, and highly entertaining waste of a whole lot of time, and one that is highly recommended.
The improvements are many, the story is enjoyable, and the gameplay is pretty refined; all of these make Guild Wars 2 a game worth playing. Oh, and ‘May the Six watch over you’.
Games TM (Sep 19, 2012)
ArenaNet’s ongoing rejection of the MMO subscription model and the concept of an endgame has allowed it to create a landmark game that, like World Of Warcraft, which brought greater polish to the genre, is going to redefine what people expect from MMOs going forward. It’s very slick, enormous fun, continually dynamic, and more than any other MMO it brings the genre closer to the ideal of a fantasy world filled with hundreds of players in which just about anyone can lose themselves. That sentiment, as much as anything else, makes it well worth playing.
MMGN (Sep 13, 2012)
The game isn’t perfect. And honestly, I don’t think it ever could be with ArenaNet’s design philosophy. But it’s definitely the best MMORPG on the market at the moment, and the best we’ve had for a long while. With the combination of a flat-fee and no subscription fee, and a greatly detailed game definitely worth the cost, Guild Wars 2 is not only the best MMORPG of the century, but probably going to be Game of the Year, too. If you’re looking for something to do for an hour or two a day, here or there, this is your game. If you’re looking for something more hard-core where you can run through dungeons with your large guild, or to go have huge intense combat, this is your game. If you’re looking for something amazing, this is your game.
IGN (Sep 11, 2012)
ArenaNet has built one of the most exhaustively detailed and rewarding MMOs in existence, one that never unfairly penalizes and fosters an incredible urge to explore through a generous reward system and achingly pretty environment design. It’s a virtual world that more than anything wants you to work together with others, and provides a huge number of possibilities for cooperation while minimizing restrictions. For those disappointed in the lack of open world PvP, the World versus World alternative is a fascinating, complex system that demands teamwork, and the arena PvP modes should provide an instant-fix for those who thrive on fast, adrenaline-fueled combat. Whether you’re looking for competitive play, want to be told a story or simply want to go for a walk through fantastic countryside, Guild Wars 2 lets you do it all with a minimal amount of arbitrary, irritating limitations, and all without a subscription fee.
GameTrailers (Sep 11, 2012)
For all its rampant innovations, Guild Wars 2 is most successful at proving that there’s always another way. The level of imagination, inspiration, and variety on display sets a high standard for other games to come. And with a payment model a good deal more generous than the majority of its competition, it puts to question just what other developers can get away with. While it’s difficult to say if we’ll look back on Guild Wars 2 as the game that finally did World of Warcraft in, we’d be surprised if the future of MMOs doesn’t look a bit more like this.
GameSpot (Sep 11, 2012)
There's so much more that could be said about Guild Wars 2--the branching story paths, the keg brawl minigame, crafting at the mystic forge--and that says a lot about the breadth and depth of this online world. Tyria isn't just a place you should visit; it's the place you should call your new online home.
GamesRadar (Sep 11, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is everything a massively-multiplayer online RPG should be. It’s original, massive in scope, and wonderfully social, removing many of the gates that held back the genre in the past. Being able to play with friends regardless of level or class is a gigantic leap forward, and one that, when mixed in with all of the other innovations in the genre, make Guild Wars 2 one of the best MMOs currently available.
Guild Wars 2 fine-tunes much of what we’ve come to expect from an MMORPG (crafting) while turning other aspects on their head (dynamic level adjustment), resulting in possibly the most refined, enjoyable game the genre’s ever seen. The graphics are stunning, especially if you have a rig capable of running the game with the highest settings turned on, and both the sound and the voice acting enhance an already impressive presentation. With five races and eight professions to choose from, replayability goes through the roof. Though developer ArenaNet still needs to squash some early bugs and even out a few rough spots, these issues aren’t nearly bad enough to wait even one day before picking this one up if you’re an MMORPG fan.
GameSpy (Sep 08, 2012)
To Guild Wars 2's credit, its issues do little detract from the immensely rewarding experience of the whole. It doesn't overthrow the conventions of the MMORPG, but it presents them in fresher and livelier packaging than its competitors. Its greatest strength lies in the sheer variety of its options. It still needs some roleplaying "fluff" at this point, but such minor concerns are usually lost in the joys of playing a game that reminds us that assisting and working with strangers toward a common goal can still be fun. Its arrival heralds an evolution, not a revolution, but it's an uncommon experience that celebrates skill as opposed to gear; community over isolation; and its best parts combine to make it one of the genre's boldest entries of all time.
Impulse Gamer (Sep, 2012)
With a development period of 5 years, Guild Wars 2 is a new breed of MMORPG that arrives just in time to evolve the genre and refresh its flagging numbers. Without subscription fees, it seems unlikely that a game could single-handedly revive the market, but Guild Wars 2 is an unlikely game. Offering everything that most players want in a multiplayer online dungeon crawler experience, gorgeous visuals and bold steps forward in gaming ideas, Guild Wars 2 is a true blockbuster given all of the tools it needs for success. If you want to do more with your time – like spend it in vast quantities while increasing your reputation as an adventurer online – There are few options that can compete with Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2 is a very good MMO. It does pretty much everything you’d hope for, and the lack of a monthly surcharge makes it a lot easier to recommend to the more casual playerbase. The combat is excellent; the world is vast; the PvE is well-tuned; the PvP is marvellously designed. I could easily write another 2,000 words on each of the game’s disparate segments, and most of it would be praise. There’s something here for MMO players of every bent, and it’s hard to imagine someone who wouldn’t get their money’s worth from this.
Game Revolution (Sep 04, 2012)
If you’ve been waiting for a MMO to come out that’s well worth its price of admission, you’re in luck. Guild Wars 2 presents a diverse repertoire of options ranging from an entertaining leveling experience that constantly rewards you, to a deep PvP component that may become the new face of the genre. Its dungeon design strays from the norm and future updates will determine whether or not it can carry the attention of the content-devouring PvE crowd. That said, Guild Wars 2 has something few games are able to muster: a personality. Its contemporary mixture of content and gameplay along with its lack of a monthly fee makes it recommendable to both MMO fans and online RPG skeptics alike.

New Game Network (Sep 10, 2012)
More streamlined and accessible than most games before it, this is an evolution of the genre. Guild Wars 2 brings simple yet dramatic changes to the stale gameplay formula that result in an easily enjoyable experience for any MMO fan out there, and a great point of entry for all curious enough to step into Tyria.
Games Finder (Dec 23, 2014)
Everything else that makes a great massively multiplayer online role playing is also there with skill selection, an engaging story, crafting, quests and lots more. Guild Wars 2 is much more than your standard game though, every aspect of the game has been designed and put together brilliantly to create one of the top M.M.O.R.P.G.s with just the right touch of innovation.
XGN (Sep 13, 2012)
GameOver (Greece) (Sep 28, 2012)
Worth Playing (Sep 20, 2012)
Ultimately, Guild Wars 2 does what the original Guild Wars did eight years ago: take the trends of its era, tweak them to do something similar yet distinct, combine them with a strong setting to create an enjoyable product, and make it available for a single payment, with optional micropayment-based extras. At $60, Guild Wars 2 is easily one of the best MMO values in the pay realm this year, and it's superior to every free-to-play in the genre.
The Verge (Sep 06, 2012)
A handful of technical issues and poor tutorials only barely impact the addictive, infinitely explorable world that ArenaNet has crafted in Guild Wars 2. The genre's flaws all still exist here. The never-ending MMO treadmill still gets exhausting, even when you can periodically shift your efforts to other, tinier treadmills. But Guild Wars 2 hides those flaws admirably and magnifies the genre's strengths better than any game since World of Warcraft. It folds in the soloability and storytelling that's become a trend for recent MMOs while creating a world and gameplay systems that naturally urge people toward playing together. It rewards skill and variety rather than mindless grinding. And it does all of this in a massive, persistent world without asking for a subscription fee. So no, Guild Wars 2 isn't an MMO prophet leading its flock to a glorious future. But that doesn't stop it from being the best MMO in years.

Gaming Age (Sep 21, 2012)
With a very unique take on the MMO genre, Guild Wars 2 is a great entry into the series. The music and especially the environments are extremely well done and suck the player into the vast world. There are a few technical bumps along the road, which will hopefully be fixed in later patches or updates. However, if you can overlook a few minor launch glitches, the game is worth every penny. If you find that you have time to add an MMO to your life, I suggest picking up Guild Wars 2… it was definitely worth the wait.
Mana Pool (Oct 19, 2012)
Despite some minor downfalls I believe it is important to remember that Guild Wars 2 is a new title and most new titles take time to be tweaked and re-tweaked to perfection. In my opinion this game is well worth the money you spend, especially as a main title MMO with no subscription fee. At the moment this game tops it genre, hands down.
Splitkick (Oct 10, 2012)
Even if you’re like me and never get into the PvP side of the game, Guild Wars 2 delivers a fantastic co-op RPG experience and an incredible value proposition. Pay $60 once and you get an absolutely massive game world to go wild in.
80 (Sep 19, 2012)
The best new MMO since World Of Warcraft, and while it may not break the formula laid down by Blizzard it certainly rattles the chains louder than anyone else.
Level 7 (Oct 09, 2012)
RPGFan (Nov 28, 2012)
After spending fifty hours with GW2, I have a lot of praise for ArenaNet's work and the way it changes up some of the typical trappings of the MMO. And yet, I find myself thinking less and less about it each day. It's not a declaration against the product, mind you, but simply a fact that this game still is very much an MMO, and your enjoyment will directly relate to how much you enjoy the genre. For many who were hoping for a clean break from MMO design philosophy, Guild Wars 2 will probably come across as a slight disappointment. It pushes the genre slightly forward, however, and could lead to even further development in the future.
Edge (Sep 19, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is a few brushstrokes short of a masterpiece, then, but ArenaNet has succeeded in trying to paint over the worst of the genre’s cracks. Thanks to a rigorous programme of restoration, only sometimes do its underlying imperfections show through the glossy veneer.
80 (Sep 14, 2012)
Guild Wars 2 is beautiful game that runs very well on most mid-spec machines, but there’s currently very little reward for rushing to the top. The lack of monthly fees cements ArenaNet's wish for players to take their time and explore all of the content available, but the developer needs to rethink its approach to rewarding the game's most devout players if it still wants people to be actively participating in Tyria over the coming months. Rewarding players' hard work should be paramount.
Thunderbolt Games (Nov 07, 2012)
When all is said and done, Guild Wars 2 certainly does march to the beat of its own drummer, for better and for worse. Certain flaws, such as a lack of in-game trading option (auction house or mail system must be used), frequent glitches with dynamic quests (NPCs standing idle when they should be progressing the event) and an infestation of bots are mostly overshadowed by the entertainment to be had ferreting out hard-to-find jumping puzzles, clashing with hundreds of opponents in world versus world PvP and creating nifty equipment and items using the game’s remarkably sleek crafting system (amongst other positives). Is Guild Wars 2 a revolutionary MMORPG? Not quite. It is, however, a good game and some of the best value per dollar spent currently available.
