Hentai Energy: Halloween

Hentai Energy: Halloween like the other games in this series Hentai Energy and Hentai Energy II is a collection of single player, mouse controlled, network puzzles.

Whereas the previous games rewarded the player with pictures of a scantily clad young ladies the reward artwork here tells a story in comic strip fashion. A young witch goes out one night and casts a spell. It doesn't seem to go very well because the result is a mass of purple tentacles which, as this is a hentai style game, inevitably leads to the exposure of more flesh and tentacle bondage.

As with the previous games five puzzles are needed to unlock each piece of artwork and they are all logic/network puzzles in most of which the player is required to connect terminal nodes that look like light bulbs to a power source. There are ten pieces of artwork in all and each requires the player to solve five puzzles to unlock it.

The format of the game is the same as the others in the series, all puzzles comprise two elements circles which can be rotated in ninety degree increments and squares which can be swapped with other squares. All puzzles must be completed in a fixed number of moves, there are four types of puzzle* The first puzzles the player encounters differ from all the rest. Here the player is presented with completed circuits in which all the parts are circles. The player's task is to rotate and separate all the parts so that no two are touching

• The second type of puzzle is again made up of circle elements but here the player must complete a circuit by rotating the elements
• The third puzzle type has only square elements which must be swapped around to complete the circuit
• The final puzzle type combines the circle and square elements and builds to circuits with four nodes to connect In some cases there is more than one solution to the circuit creation puzzles and they can be completed with pieces 'left over'.

The game has optional music and a gallery mode which allows the unlocked artwork to be viewed.
