Summary

Short but very well done

The Good

I liked just about everything in this game.

The artwork is very well done and, despite having hentai in the game's title, it is, dare I say it, 'tasteful'. There's no sex; none of the characters shown is naked; and none have unfeasibly large breasts, the art reminds me more of the glamour/pin-up pictures of yesteryear than porn and the game is all the better for it. Also, some games I've looked at recently seem to have taken pictures from a variety of sources and the quality has therefore varied. All these pictures come from the same artist and the consistency of style and quality really shows.

I liked the music too, it was soothing and went well with the game. The puzzles are not timed and the fact that there was no need to rush was perfectly reflected in the music. They are good puzzles too, clever and well designed.

The game plays well too. I played with a mouse on a Windows 7 machine and had no problems at all. So overall it looks good, it sounds good, it plays well and it cost pennies. What's not to like?

The Bad

I liked this game a lot and there's nothing I'd change about it. However I did have a minute or so's confusion at the start when I tried to access the first set of puzzles, or was it the second set? Whichever it was, it was probably because I was trying to play and make notes at the same time.

My only other comment would be that it is quite short. My first screenshots were taken around 18:20 and the end of game screenshots were taken at 19:59. This isn't a criticism, nor is it a boast, but if you're looking for a week-long gaming session then this probably isn't for you.

The Bottom Line

Put out a plate of biscuits, make a cup of tea, put your feet up and enjoy this casual, relaxing set of puzzles. There may not be a lot of replay value in it but it costs less than a sandwich and lasts much longer.
