If the multiplayer option sounds like it's more your thing, then get HOARD on the PS3, where more people will already likely have a copy of the game to begin with. If you just want something fun to do on breaks or you just want something fun to do with down time, grab HOARD for the PSP, it's portable and enjoyable and can keep gamers entertained for a few minutes or a few hours. The Steam version isn't bad at all featuring the best graphics of all, but the PS3 version is best for multiplayer and the PSP version is my favorite version without a doubt.
Cheat Happens (Apr 24, 2011)
Hoard isn't a deep game that you'll spend hours digging in to; it's a quick and fun game that you'll spend hours playing what you think is your last game. Yes, it's addictive, and yes it's fun to be a badass dragon, but the game loses it's steam quickly thanks to a series of game crippling bugs that does everything from show debug text to bringing the entire game to a screeching halt. When the developers at Big Sandwich games release the inevitable patch, Hoard will be an instant recommendation, but for now it's best to be cautious.
Mana Pool (Apr 04, 2011)
Overall, HOARD is a fun little action game (with a dash of strategy) that truly shines when played with other people. The fairly low price tag will definitely give you your money’s worth. If the game had just a tad bit more to offer in terms of gameplay, it’d instantly go from being reasonably priced to an absolute steal. Until then, we can keep our fingers crossed for future DLCs.
