Description
Hoyle Poker Series installs in two parts, Hoyle Friday Night Poker and Hoyle On-Line Poker. Hoyle Friday Night Poker is the single player version in which the player creates an identity and plays against seven of the ten possible computerised opponents in any of the versions of poker listed below. This game can be played entirely with the mouse and it is possible to save the state of the game on exit.
The Hoyle On-Line Poker game allows the player to connect to game servers and play against other players world wide.

The game also includes in-game tutorials, on-line multi-player options and on-line tournaments.
This game draws on a number of other games. The
Hoyle Friday Night Poker part is based on
Hoyle Texas Hold 'Em and elements of the gameplay can be traced back to
Sierra's 'Hoyle Poker' (1997).
