Just Adventure (Nov 23, 2004)
The verdict? A winner! A wonderfully produced high quality game worthy of your attention. It’s a huge game of moderate difficulty, and loads of fun. I recommend it to any adventurer or fan of the television show.
Justice is Served earns 4 + GiN Gems for being an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and a way to experience Orbach's greatness one last time.
IGN (Oct 20, 2004)
Law & Order: Justice is Served is a very good game and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It contains a really interesting case to solve and an involving story, along with some great game mechanics. It is a little short, as most of these games tend to be. I'd have loved for them to jam two cases into the game, but I guess if that were the case, it wouldn't have been as well written. This isn't a game for people who don't like the show or point and click adventures, but for those two segments of gaming society, it's perfect. The essence of the television show is beautifully captured, something a lot of games based on TV shows rarely do. Including the first game in the series is a big plus for anyone who hasn't played that one.
GameSpy (Oct 18, 2004)
Whether you like detective stories, courtroom dramas, or adventure games, Law & Order: Justice Is Served has a lot to offer, particularly if you're already a fan of the show. The graphics aren't all they could be, and the game suffers from a few crashing bugs, but it boasts a solid story, interesting characters, and diverse puzzles. You even get the first Law & Order game, Dead on the Money, free in the package. Justice Is Served is a case you'll want to get to the bottom of.
Quandary (Nov, 2004)
It's not a hard game, but it is a thoughtful game, and you will need to consider everything you know and review your material more than once if you are going to get a conviction. Whilst I felt a little bamboozled and lacking in direction at some points, everything pretty much hangs together if you are meticulous and attentive. If you like reading or watching crime dramas and trying to put the pieces together, you will likely get maximum enjoyment out of Justice is Served. I certainly did.
GamingExcellence (Jun 15, 2005)
Overall, this game is enjoyable, and you’ll need at around a weekend to finish it, depending on how quickly you solve the puzzles. The storyline is similar to an episode of L&O, with all the twists and turns that go with it. The plotline is engaging, but it won’t change no matter how many times you play it.
Game Over Online (Nov 15, 2004)
Chances are that Legacy Interactive is going to make a fourth Law & Order game, and despite my not giving any of the first three games in the series a score as high as 80%, I’m cautiously optimistic that I’ll really like that fourth game. The first two games had interesting cases, and the third game had a nice interface, and so hopefully Legacy can put everything together for the fourth game. However, sadly, that sort of synergy didn’t come together for Justice is Served, and I’d only recommend it to fans of the game series or the television series.
Netjak (Jan 08, 2005)
I have not played any of the other Law and Order games, but from what I hear, the game has improved immensely over its predecessors. In fact, Justice is Served even comes with a bonus copy of Law and Order: Dead on the Money; it would appear that they have been reduced to giving away copies. Justice is Served is not without its flaws, but it still provides many solid hours of enjoyment. Players will find themselves riveted to the screen as they search for crucial pieces of evidence and a break in the case, so to speak. This is quite a treat for any fan of the show and even has some appeal for gamers just looking for a good mystery.
Game Chronicles (Nov 10, 2004)
As it is, you are basically playing the second game with a new case (and a free copy of the first game) for around thirty dollars. If that sounds great to you, then buy it; you won’t be disappointed. If you want an adventure game, Justice is Served will also serve that need. If you want the next evolution in Law and Order games, this probably will fall short of your expectations.
GameSpot (Oct 21, 2004)
Like the Law & Order games before it, Justice Is Served is ultimately geared toward fans of the TV series, and it works just fine in that regard. It's a short and generally simple game with only a few difficult sections, but it emulates the show's style of criminal investigation almost perfectly, and you can't really ask for much more than that from a game called Law & Order.
Sydney Morning Herald (Jan 15, 2005)
At this low price, Justice is Served represents better value than its forerunners and is the best in the series. But only one case could still be seen as insufficient, considering there is little replay appeal.
GameDaily (Nov 29, 2004)
Final verdict? Justice Is Served is first and foremost geared toward fans of the show and those adventure game purists who still exist. It imitates the TV show's style letter perfect and scores high marks for creating an enjoyable story and showing what a good adventure game can be. Additionally, it gives us an amazing criminal investigation experience unlike any game before. If you fancy yourself a modern day Sherlock Holmes... you'll enjoy serving up your own justice!
Adventure Gamers (Nov 23, 2004)
With each game, this franchise keeps getting better. Justice Is Served is entertaining in the same way as a TV show. You'll enjoy it while it lasts, but when it's over, it's over—time to flip the channel and find something else.
Armchair Empire, The (Feb 21, 2005)
The designers seem to have been going for a game that would be closer to an interactive episode of the show rather than a proper video game. Aside from the puzzles portion of the game, there is little else that can really be called a "game." However, fans of the show likely won't mind as I didn't. The story is interesting enough to keep you playing through and the puzzles are enough to give the game a bit of variety.
Adventure-Treff (Oct 24, 2005)

GameStar (Germany) (Oct, 2005)
Hui, junge Frauen in kurzen Röckchen!
Schon traurig.
