Laxius Force is a great turn-based game with many things to do, so much so that you may never get bored. I give Laxius Force a 90.

Laxius Force is a great RPG at a great price and what more could you want? It's tough to say no to a 35+ hour RPG with as much, if not more, text/dialogue than some RPGs from major developers that only costs $15. Definitely take a moment to browse the game's official site and check out Laxius Force, the Laxius Power games, and the other content the developers have produced, such as their print novels and non-Laxius RPG Blades of Heaven. I hope that the ambitions of Aldorlea Games are fully realized and that Laxius becomes an underground epic series that could potentially rival Square Enix's SaGa series.

it’s not state-of-the-art but Laxius Force is an enthralling title that will have you thumping your keyboard as you continue to be enticed by it’s addictive characteristics and fantastic storyline. It stumbles in some areas but never really falls.

In all, I spent close to 12 hours playing Laxius Force, which honestly is far more than what I would have spent had I not been reviewing it. It’s a goodish re-incarnation of such classics as the Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy series that had me glued to the TV all those years ago. If you’re too young to have lived through those heady days in the 80’s and 90’s in front of your console, then there might be some merit in taking a look at Laxius Force. It’s where CRPG’s evolved to a point where they went beyond the realms of guys in the basement playing D&D and attracted a more mainstream following. Laxius Force might be a newly developed game, but it’s been built from a failsafe blueprint that has been around for a couple of decades now.
