Description
After spending much time on a beautiful beach, unaware that it is cursed, Juul's mind also becomes corrupted by the curse. One evening, she is approached by D'nüm, The Glasswalker, an Elder Pilgrim of a spiritually evolved people, and taken on a hero's journey, seeking treatment for the curse of anxiety. Much more is at stake than may first appear.
The Müll Littoral is a short visual novel dealing with the issue of anxiety. When a challenge is faced, time is stopped to allow the hero to use the Lens to gather information about various elements in the scene. Once the Lens is put away, time will resume and the correct actions must be taken, by clicking on the correct items in the proper order, fast enough or at the right time. There is no "game over", failing any puzzle, even those that result in death, simply triggering a prompt to try again, while a couple of puzzles have no constraints in terms of time or moves allowed and no failure states, only ending when the correct solution is found.
The main menu allows the game to be continued from three different points, all being directly accessible from the beginning. There are two regular endings, each offering a password that may be entered to reveal some sketches.
