The Good
Exactly what is there to make the game enjoyable? I suppose if you got tired of waiting for a proper sequel this might help pass half an hour of your precious time? On the plus side this game is completely free (as it should be) and you’ve got a new adventure ahead of you. Or do you?

The Bad
Of all the lazy artistry that went into a single game including almost every Neo-Geo title imaginable, plus some graphics from Doom and other LucasArts titles, this one completely gave ripping off a bad name. I’m surprised they didn’t put graphics from the bafflingly bad Neo-Geo games into the game like Legend of Success Joe or Mina-San no Okagesama desu! Put together with this mish mash of “borrowed” graphics are puzzles that can’t even boggle the mind and cheesy storylines based on every well known film imaginable. To top it off, you only get to play as Zak and not any other character. Just leave it to Zak to set the stage.

The Bottom Line
This game is in no way faithful to the Zak McKracken material by Lucasfilm. Of all the amateurish, immature adventures you could plunge and dive into, this one takes the diaper cake. This fan project is not at all deserving of being a sequel to the classic mindbender adventure, like no way! Talk about an insult to its 14th anniversary. If you truly are a fan of graphic adventure games with good concepts, don’t ever play that title. Some games are best left unplayed and shrouded in the dark. I don’t think many people will be talking about this one.
