How do you tell if you have a fixed copy? The cover should should say "Hot! New!", the disc is slightly different, and the UPC may also be different.

The other games that were released as Hot! New! versions were Mortal Kombat Gold, Hydro Thunder, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing.
