The boxed version of Once and Future sold only a few hundred copies, putting Cascade Mountain out of business. The game, along with the hint book and map (originally sold separately) could be bought directly from Michael Berlyn for a few months afterward. The remaining unsold copies, about 1500 - 2000 of them, were eventually destroyed.
