Pteroglider Trivia (Windows)
In a postmortem written in 2008 the developers deemed the game a commercial failure, only having sold 32 copies. They did no market research and the technical requirements for a downloadable game were quite high at the time with the need for DirectX 9 drivers. They also discovered the controls with the mouse-based targeting system were too difficult for casual game players, even hardcore players found it tough. They soon removed it from online stores and decided to fully focus on casual games. On the other hand, it was their only game finished in a timely fashion of three months according to their planning, written during an engineering thesis' break. The game was eventually re-released as freeware in May 2008.
