If you're a fan of the actual sport of motorcycle trials, or you're just up for a challenging, addictive and lovingly crafted arcade game then Trials 2 is for you. Redlynx have come up with one of the most compelling and fun games of the year, and if this does manage to make its way onto the Xbox Live Arcade, Microsoft will have yet another hit on their hands. Anyway, I must get going - I need to have another go at finishing Inferno!

Watch out, ten minutes of Trials 2: Second Edition can hit you so hard that you won't notice the time until it's already morning. Pure, polished skill-rewarding gameplay and probably the best thing you can get for twenty bucks.

Petollisen yksinkertainen arcade-huristelu on jo sinÀnsÀ ostosuosituksen arvoinen, ja vajaan 15 euron hintalappu ja suomalainen kehitystiimi tekevÀt pelistÀ vielÀkin houkuttelevamman. Ostajia pitÀÀ tosin varoittaa: ÀlkÀÀ pelatko peliÀ lasten lÀhettyvillÀ, ellette halua opettaa heille koko kirosanavarastoanne ja paria peliÀ varten keksimÀÀnne uutuutta.

This is a superb trials game using the same great principle as Elastomania, a bouncy motorcycle governed by a good physics engine. Itâs one of those games which hooks you immediately, and even after you get sick of playing, it remains permanently on your hard drive to be revisited every once in a while. Itâs simple, well made, and uses the great allure of physics to keep you coming back for more. Give it a whirl. You wonât regret it.

Trials 2 SE just keeps you coming back for more time and time again. Sometimes the difficulty can border on insane and get on your nerves, but if you stick to small regular doses the amount of time you can burn bouncing around a few objects on your bike in this game is amazing. The concept is so simple yet the result is so fun and challenging, and that's before you even consider the feature filled online integration, which is probably one of the better jobs you'll find in a game like this. What can I say, other than the absence of the ability to design and distribute your own levels, there is just no faulting this game. It even comes in at under $US 20 to buy online and there is a free demo to check out - you can't ask for much more value than that.

Trials 2 Second Edition can very easily cross over from simple casual game to a major Steam favorite - much like independent title AudioSurf did. From the hilarity of crashes to the intense feeling of satisfaction when you finally nail the last half of a really tough track and top all your friends' best times, this game is a hell of a lot of fun. And for $10, you've hardly got anything to lose. If you enjoyed any of the TrackMania games or even physics-based racers like FlatOut, then this one's a must have.

GamingTrend (May, 2008)
Trials 2 is a throwback to old school gaming. It is a game that doesn't try to be too many things. It takes a single concept and executes it well. Although Trials 2 is a decent looking title, it is the gameplay itself that shines. Playing the game, I can't help but feel RedLynx would have been comfortable back in the days of Gauntlet and Pong. It is a niche title, and not everyone who picks it up is going to love it. However if the idea of taking a trail bike through complex obstacle courses and soaring through the air is appealing, then Trials 2 simply will not disappoint.

Overall, Trials 2: Second Edition is a fun ride and a good challenge. While not the most advanced or feature packed game ever, it is still a fun little ride that stands as a enjoyable, non-taxing alternative to the epic, big budget, system killers that the big developers like to release nowadays. Recommended.

Trials 2 has the potential to be one of the most frustratingly annoying games of all time. Thanks to some clever design and well thought out features itâs an addictive and damned playable puzzle game that will make you laugh as well as scream, sometimes at the same time.

Trials 2 SE is a great game and is highly recommended, it offers a very fine trial biking experience with a lot of wacky fun and some great community features. Taking your rider and inflicting punishment is great, and the sense of achievement from completing a challenging track is immense. Playing this is a joy.

Overall, Trials 2 is a very fun indie game. It's available on Steam for a lowly $10. Support the indie scene and buy it today.

Gamers who enjoy physics based puzzle games like Portal and challenging old-school 2D games will get a kick out of Trials 2. This game has been tailor made to meet the demands of competitive gamers. However, this game isn't for everyone. The learning curve will be too much for some. Overall this game achieves what it sets out to do with flying colors. It's calculated mayhem at its best. The game runs for $9.99 on Valve's Steam service. For that price it will give you a bloody good time.

There's little doubt that Trials 2: Second Edition is worth the US$20 that RedLynx are asking for the downloadable version. The recent 1.06 patch has just added 4 more easy levels and one extra dynamic track, so it's clear that RedLynx will be supporting the game for the foreseeable future. Even though the most of the medium and all of the hard levels remained out of our reach, we found that there was more than enough challenge in trying to better our times on other levels. The solid online stats tracking and downloadable replays are terrific additions. Trials 2: Second Edition will make you tear your hair out in frustration and swear like a trooper, but you'll have a good time in the process.

Its sheer brutal nature keeps it away from the nine, but if this isn't in the Eurogamer Top 50 at the end of the year...well, it means that the rest of the Eurogamer guys haven't played the thing. And more fool them. The trial version is available from its website and you can watch some of the videos to get a sense of this glorious, ludicrous nonsense that could only be a videogame. It's part of a glorious, quiet revvvvolution. Fanservice mode on: Motorbikes!

Hardcore Gamer Magazine (Jan 03, 2008)
Trials 2: Second Edition is well worth the price of admission. The core gameplay is going to please casual fans, while the in-depth puzzle-solving and team-building will turn the game into a hardcore experience. While not perfect, if you enjoy a unique and fresh take on bike racing that includes solid visuals and physics, then Trials 2: Second Edition is not something to pass up on.

Thunderbolt Games (Mar 08, 2009)
What each player gets out of Trials 2: Second Edition will depend on how much theyâre willing to pour in, and thereâs definitely a satisfaction to be gleaned from mastering the bikeâs movement. Of course there are some issues, but itâs well presented, enjoyable and, as has doubtless become abundantly apparent, ridiculously hard. It may be a tough nut to crack, but just like the most invaluable of real-life partners, that makes the effort all the more gratifying in the end.

Avid Gamer (Jun 07, 2008)
Trails 2: Second Edition has managed to get itself in a tough place. Itâs got the casual elements of being cheap and suited to quick ten minute play, yet is too difficult for any âcasual gamerâ to master. Itâs a wolf in sheepâs clothing; fiendishly difficult, yet offering that pick up and play factor. Despite that, it does what itâs meant to do, but even so, weâre recommending that you try the demo before you play.

Armchair Empire, The (Apr 29, 2008)
The hitch is that you have to want to subject yourself to the courses in the first place. For somebody who's got an extra ten minutes to kill on their lunch hour at Starbucks, Trials 2 is a good entertaining quickie, and you'll be able to see how well you did against the other players around the world. But if you're looking for a more engrossing game, you're likely going to forfeit your chance to develop those mad enduro skills.

Game Chronicles (Jun 13, 2008)
Donât buy this game thinking youâre getting a motorcycle simulation. Donât buy it thinking youâre getting anything more than an arcade game. If you go into it knowing that, youâll get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Trying to get your global ranking up higher on each track will end up being what keeps people playing tracks over and over again. And the team aspect will definitely excite some people as well. Like I said before, if you love the flash game and want more, youâll be pleasantly surprised with the full version and you wonât feel like you blew your money.

Hier geht's ums Wesentliche. Tuning? Fehlanzeige!
