Robinson Crusoe
- Robinson Crusoe (1987 on Amstrad CPC, Thomson TO, Thomson MO)
Description
Robinson Crusoe is an interactive book combined with an adventure game based on the 1719 classic of the same name.
The adventure half is in first-person with 360º panoramic views. Gameplay is similar to Myst and its sequels, albeit more linear as the player has to perform certain tasks to move forward.
The interactive part works as guide book to the adventure portion, where the player can read and listen to the story (narrated by Martin Jarvis), click on the animated illustrations and collect clues to solve the adventure puzzles.
Progress is saved as a "bookmark" when exiting the game.
