DescriptionBased on the engine of Sid Meier's Civilization V, Beyond Earth takes the turn-based strategy of Civilization into space with the colonization of an extrasolar planet. The standard features of the series are present, with conflict between factions, and with native life. Factions may develop along three main socio-technological paths: Supremacy, the integration of technology into the human form; Harmony, the development of biotechnology to live more in keeping with the native ecosystem; and Purity, the preservation and perfection of the basic human form. Each of these Affinities has their own unique victory, units and buildings, and different strategies that will serve them best.
