Selecting a faction - Up to four different factions to choose from.

Character creation - Choices between one female portrait and two male portraits.

Character creation - Selecting a profession. Six professions from the most law abiding to the most criminal.

Game start - The local star system of faction's capital. Random locations may also pop up each new turn.

Character sheet - A general overview of accomplishments, as well as ribbons, medals, and ranks obtained.

Character sheet - Combat skills are awarded after every rank promotion.

Planet menu - More options to choose from when selecting a planet.

Governor - Only unique option here is to ask for amnesty (if you're wanted criminal). Other options are accessible from the main map.

Bank - Call me old fashioned, but those loan requirements don't look like a particularly smart investment.

Buy a new ship - Selections of different ships divided into ship classes.

Upgrade ship - Different equipment slots available to be upgraded.

Upgrade ship - Viewing merchandise available for new gun armaments.

Spaceport bar - Buying drinks is used to wait if the ship's shields need recharging. Sometimes the bartender offers information for a fee.

Crew hiring - Only needed for star ships of the corvette class or larger.

Missions - Usually ranging from transporting goods, destroying enemy ships, and patrols.

Trade - Selecting an item will reveal the prices of neighboring planets for easy price comparison.

Galaxy map - Can also be used to see the average price of good in other solar systems. Need a trade skill to activate it though.
