Description
Spartan is an empire building Turn Based Strategy game. While the Spartans were known for their strength in combat, the game focuses more on research, diplomacy and trade; but war is also part of the game. The objective of the game is to unite the Aegean states so to be a match against the Persian Empire. The game is played in 3D but the battles can optionally be displayed in 2D for less powerful computers. The campaign offers you with a map of Greece and the near east. Over a hundred different nations populate this map and can be traded with, allied and attacked. Castles can be laid siege on with catapults and ships can be used to perform naval invasions. The game features multiplayer modes for online play.
