How is this free!

The Good
There are over eight hundred puzzles here, EIGHT HUNDRED! I've paid for puzzle games that I've finished in half an hour and there's days worth here and they are free. Not only that but there's a chunk of them that get refreshed each week to keep me supplied with new challenges - off the top of my head I cannot think of any commercial games that do that.

I did find some of the simple games a bit easy and I knocked some of them out in under a minute, however there were harder puzzles and some that I haven't come across before and those could take fifteen to twenty minutes to solve. There are also some I really struggled with and I haven't solved any of these yet. All-in all just what you want from a puzzle collection.

The game installs easily, loads quickly and the game mechanics are dead simple and work a treat.

The Bad
There's nothing much to dislike about this game. The most critical thing I comment I can make is that the puzzles are all grid based, so they could become a bit samey after a while. However, this is a 'casual game', it's not the kind of game I'd play all day, so I don't see this as much of a problem.

The Bottom Line
I really liked this game, it didn't knock my socks off and I won't be going to bed at night looking forward to another day's gaming with it, but it's got a good mix of the familiar as well as the strange to capture my interest.

There's a lot of puzzles here. It's occupied me for over six hours so far, but I was taking notes and capturing screenshots, and I haven't touched half the puzzle types here yet. It's free, so what have you to lose by giving it a try?
