Virtual Bombard is a two-player artillery game with 3D graphics, based on Tank Wars. Both players control a stationary tank, placed in a landscape with randomly-generated elevation. The players take turns to shoot, adjusting the angle of the tank's cannon and the power of the shot. The direction and strength of wind changes with every turn, and affects the trajectory of the shots. A tank struck with a missile loses some of its life (the more the closer the shot lands) and is destroyed if its life is drained completely. It's also possible for a tank to hurt itself with its shot.

Destroying the enemy tank grants a player one point, then the game begins anew. The first player to achieve three points is declared the winner.
