Win42 is a single player, shareware game that is based on a domino game known as just 42. 42 is a domino game played predominately in the South central United States and has been referred to as 'the national game of Texas'.

Briefly this is a like a card game played with dominoes. In 42 dominoes are said to have suits just like the suits in cards, one end of the domino will determine it's suit while the other will determine it's rank so a 2-6 is the highest domino in the '2' suit while 6-2 is a low domino in the '6' suit. It is a game for four players playing in pairs, in this implementation the computer plays both partner and both opponents, that is played with a standard set of dominoes - i.e. the biggest domino is double six.

Each hand starts with a bidding phase in which each player states how many points they think they and their partner can score. Whichever player makes the highest bid wins the contract and the right to nominate trumps as in a card game. The hand is then played and scoring is based on the number of tricks taken. A detailed description of the game can be found here
