SummaryA great game that helps kids stay safe from electrocution outside!
The GoodThe Wonders of Electricity: An Adventure in Safety is one of the extremely obscure educational games out there here in Canada that teaches kids to stay safe from getting shocked by electricity when playing outdoors, or when using electrical equipment and appliances. To be honest, this was originally intended to be used in elementary schools in the Ontario region of Canada.
The safety lessons (along with the video and diagram sequences) are explained very well. Another thing is that Millie Watt's voice sounds like Minako Aino from the Viz dub of Sailor Moon (which Minako Aino's voice actress is played by Cherami Leigh). Gameplay is pretty simple for the target age group of 8 to 11, and I found that the sound quality is good, and the graphics are photographed along with FMV sequences in QuickTime video, which is really great for an obscure educational game like this!
The BadThe voice acting quality is mediocre, even with the Millie Watt FMV sequences (it sounds like a non-Hi-Fi VHS tape to me). There is also a rare chance of technical glitches when played using modern systems such as Windows 10 64-BIT.
