Description

World Extreme Landscapes is a scenery enhancement, plus an aircraft add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

This add-on is one in a series of enhancements from Abacus, using the FS Genesis terrain mesh.

The scenery enhancement is realised as a higher resolution for the world elevation data, increasing it 128 times from 1220m to 76.4m (38.2m in some areas). The full installation takes 14GB, but it is possible to select a partial install to reduce disk space requirement; these separate areas are divided into Africa, Asia, Australia, Coastal Canada (38m), Central America, Europe, North America and South America.

To explore the enhanced world an added aircraft, the Vans RV-6A, is included together with 21 (for FS2002) or 23 (for FS2004) pre-made sightseeing flights around the world.
