TrueAchievements (Jul 03, 2015)
The game does have its faults; a couple of times it completely froze after navigating to the dashboard, framerate drops occur occasionally, and the Batmobile whilst brilliant for navigating the city is overused and repetitive in tank battles, but that can easily be forgiven when the rest of the experience is as good as it is. For anyone who likes Batman, the previous releases in the franchise, or open world games in general, Arkham Knight is an absolute must play, and offers a genuine reason for gamers who haven't yet made the jump to the new generation of consoles to seriously consider making the switch.

Batman: Arkham Knight makes very few mistakes, providing not only a very fitting end to the Arkham trilogy, but also the ultimate Batman videogame experience for fans of Bruce Wayne’s alter ego. For those who have played the previous games, expect more of the same, only bigger and better, along with a few surprises. If you have never put on the cape and cowl, Batman: Arkham Knight is the best place to start your vigilante existence.

But despite any concerns you might have, this is one solid game. From the variety of minigames and puzzles to the tried-and-true brawling combat the series is known for, Batman: Arkham Knight delivers. The flawless core gameplay, the beautifully designed environments, and the sheer fun of throwing yourself at the challenges of the game are fun for hours on end. This is a game that delivers more than your money's worth, and gives up precisely what fans of the series wanted: More Batman, bigger and better than before.

So obviously there were a few things that I didn't like about Arkham Knight and some things that I wished were done better, but overall I did enjoy my time with the game. It's certainly a case of a game in which the good parts are so good that it makes the flaws really stand out. Overall, it's easy to recommend the game to anyone who played any of the prior games in the series, and to anyone who wants to play a game that brings you closer to the experience of being the Dark Knight than any other game before it.
