Dance Central: Spotlight
Description official description
Dance Central Spotlight is the fourth game in the dance simulation series. The base game includes 10 music tracks and another 104 tracks are available through downloadable content with a large part of it being free. Contrary to the last three installments, Spotlight is solely distributed digitally.
Gameplay is similar to the previous games in the series. The player follows the dance moves of a character on screen, which are tracked by the Kinect peripheral. The more accurately the players dance, the more points they earn. Songs include up to eight routines. Four of these are tied to the difficulty level. Higher difficulties result in more advanced dance moves. Only the standard and fitness modes return in this installment. The Story Mode and mini-games are left out of the game.
The game does feature a practice mode in which players can slow down the routine or skip to certain parts of the song to train for specific difficult dance moves. This mode can be activated, via voice commands or controller, in the middle of a song. After closing the practice mode the song continues where the player left of.
